How We Got Here
Our story
“Opposites attract” is practically our mantra.We’ve always approached problems from opposite angles and somehow landed on the same solution. “Opposites attract” is practically our mantra, and nearly 14 years later, we’re still proving it true. Over time, we realized our strengths weren’t just complementary; they were powerful when combined.
So we became neurodivergent business consultants and built a business around the way our brains naturally work: curious, analytical, creative, deeply focused, and always searching for the “why” beneath the surface. We don’t believe in guesswork. We believe in insight.
After a decade in Texas and roots in Florida, we now call The Hague, Netherlands home. That international change sharpened our lens: companies worldwide demand a clear message, strategy, and content that is created with meaning.

We are a two-person partnership built on a rare pairing: business experience and academic rigor. We each lead our own specialty, but because so much of our work overlaps, you get both perspectives on the problems that need them. And every engagement is led personally by at least one of us, no one else. The depth you read about here is the depth you get.

John McAvoy, PhD
Co-Founder & Director of Scholarship & Professional Development
John possesses a PhD in Adult and Organizational Learning & Leadership, the study of how individuals learn, how leaders are developed, and how teams are formed to perform. He’s been a faculty member who has taught everyone from undergrads to PhD students, both in person and online, and administratively developed entry-level hires to senior executives. Add 15+ years in recruiting, training and leadership and our People & Team Development services delivers something rare: the research, the reality – from one person.
He is also a published scholarly writer with four publications to his credit. For you, it means content, reports and copy that meet the level of published research – clear, trustworthy, convincing and without the filler. Kristen has an MBA with a specialty in marketing and is a freelance Head of Marketing and Public Relations for WerkWell, where she leads brand, campaigns and communications. Our Marketing services are centered on theory-taught, field-honed strategy: positioning and campaigns based on what really drives a business forward.
